Scorpion’s Classic Styled Album

Lovedrive is the sixth studio album released in the year 1979 by the German heavy metal band Scorpions. This album is a major change for the band as it switches to a classic style of music. And on May 28, 1986, the album was certified as Gold by the RIAA. 
The album was able to become ranked 25 on IGN’s list of the top 25 metal albums. Like in most of the albums of the band, the cover of Lovedrive is very controversial too. The cover depicted a controversial picture of a man and a woman. They wear formal clothes while seated at the back of the car. The woman’s exposed breast that is covered by the stretch bubblegum becomes controversial. Because of this edgy picture, it was later banned and replaced with a simpler cover that no longer caused so much controversy.  And because of the cover, many opinions were raised and lots of writing company articles were written to air the comments regarding the concerns of the public. While the band member thinks that the cover is just harmless and will never be a problem in America, people had the choice on how to receive such music to their lives.
